Across the Land of Snows, Tibetans have long pressed small images of devotion from clay, then left them in mountain caves, on mani stone cairns and inside the stupas of high passes, or carried them close to the heart in a gau box. "Clay of the Snowland" continues that quiet tradition. This is not simply a bracelet; it is a piece of the plateau's devotion made to travel with you, a relic believed to shelter its wearer wherever the road leads.
The Clay of the Snowland (Nyagla Chacha)
At the heart of the piece rests a hand-pressed Nyagla Chacha, a Tibetan tsa-tsa formed from natural clay and mineral pigments. In Tibetan tradition, tsa-tsa are pressed from sacred moulds as acts of devotion and revered as consecrated relics, believed to carry blessing and turn away misfortune. Its deep black body rises into a hand-gilded crown, so the gold catches the light as your wrist moves. Because it is shaped by hand from earth rather than cast in a factory, no two are exactly alike. As you wear it, the gilding will soften gently at its edges and become a record of your own journey.

The Fearless Guardian (Chitipati Charm): A brass Chitipati grins from the cord. In Tibetan folklore, the Chitipati are the dancing Lords of the Charnel Ground, reminders of impermanence traditionally invoked to drive away fear and ill intent. They are said to laugh at what would frighten you.
The Voice of Awakening (Vajra Bell): A small brass ritual bell symbolises wisdom. With every movement of your wrist, its soft chime is believed to wake your awareness and dispel stagnant energy.
The Order of the Heavens (Nine Mewa & Eight Trigrams Disc): A small brass disc engraved with the Nine Mewa and Eight Trigrams of Tibetan astrology, drawn from the ancient Sipaho diagram of the cosmos. It is traditionally worn to keep the wearer in harmony with earth, sky and the turning of the years, and is believed to ward off the obstacles an unfavourable year or direction may bring.
The Warm Light (Amber Beads): Rich honey-orange Amber beads, long treasured on the Tibetan plateau as a stone of warmth, vitality and good fortune.
The Clear Path (Liuli Beads): A deep green Liuli (Tibetan glass) bead, with bright glaze beads finishing the cord ends, symbolising the pure, healing light of the Medicine Buddha.
The Guardian's Knot (Handwoven Cord): Twisted red and green threads are hand-knotted bead by bead. Red is traditionally worn for protection and vitality, green for growth and renewal.
