This is not just a bracelet of dark stone; it's two energies worn side by side. The beads, each carved with the rough, pitted surface of the moon, circle the wrist quietly — until they meet one point of deep blue. Neither one is stronger. The Sacred Anatomy

The Moon's Skin (Black Obsidian): Obsidian forms from cooled volcanic fire — glass so dark and smooth it holds no light of its own. Here, each 14mm bead is hand-textured to look like the surface of the moon, rough and matte to the touch. Obsidian has long been carried as a stone of protection, traditionally believed to absorb negative energy and keep the wearer grounded in the present. It's the calm, quiet half of this piece — steady, dark, and always there.
The Earth Stone (Apatite): At the center of the moon's circle sits one 15mm x 22mm natural Apatite — known in Himalayan gem tradition as the "Phoenix Stone" for the deep, feathered blue-green glow that ripples across its surface, said to resemble the plumage of the mythical bird. Apatite is traditionally believed to bring clarity of mind and help the wearer speak their truth, cutting through confusion the way a clear sky follows a storm. Set at the heart of this piece, its deep sea-blue also calls to mind the Earth seen from far away — so the stone carries a double meaning: the awakening clarity of the phoenix, and the calm, grounded pull of home. Where the obsidian grounds you, the Apatite is the awake, clear-headed half of the balance — together, they're believed to keep you from feeling too heavy or too scattered, just steady and clear.
Where They Meet (Tibetan Silver Spacers): Two small silver discs sit on either side of the Earth stone, marking the point where the two energies come together. In Himalayan jewelry-making, silver is traditionally seen as a purifying metal, believed to ward off negative energy — here, quietly holding the moon and earth in place.
