This is not a costume piece that gets packed away in November. It is built on one of the oldest ideas in the Himalaya — that the skeleton is not a thing to run from, but a reminder that the time on hand is worth spending well. The Seeds That Carry the Night Sky (Star & Moon Bodhi):
Each bead is a Star & Moon Bodhi seed — the hardened seed of a Himalayan rattan palm, named for what it wears on its surface: a scatter of dark "stars" across cream-white, and on every seed a single deeper "moon". No two are patterned alike. In Himalayan tradition the Bodhi seed is associated with awakening and clarity of mind, which is why these seeds have been strung and counted in the mountains for centuries. Freshly carved they are chalk-pale and matte; handled daily, the natural oils of the skin draw them slowly toward honey, then amber, then a deep translucent russet. The bracelet that arrives will not be the colour of the bracelet worn three years from now — the stars stay, the background warms.
✦ The Anatomy
Two elements, chosen for contrast — one pale and organic, one bright and knowing.
The Grinning Guardian (Citipati Charm): The cast brass face is a Citipati — in Tibetan tradition the Lord of the Charnel Ground, a skeletal figure who dances at the edge of the burial ground. Far from a figure of dread, the Citipati is traditionally regarded as a guardian: a watchman posted exactly where fear lives, believed to keep harm from crossing the line. The wide grin is the whole point. It is the oldest joke in the mountains — that death, met squarely, stops being frightening.

Materials: 6 mm Star & Moon Bodhi seeds; hand-cast brass Citipati charm.
Size: Stretch fit, 6.3 – 7.1 in / 16 – 18 cm. Fits most wrists.
Wear it: Daily, stacked, or alone. Reads as a seasonal piece through October and as a plain bead bracelet the rest of the year.
Origin: Handmade in a Himalayan workshop.
Note: Star & Moon Bodhi is a natural seed — colour, spotting and grain vary bead to bead, and the whole strand deepens in tone with wear. That change is the piece doing what it is meant to do.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition that you received it
- Unworn or unused
- With tags
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
