A Voice Aged by Time (Hand-Hammered Copper)
For centuries, singing bowls — sometimes called standing bells — have sounded through Himalayan communities, marking moments of quiet reflection. This one was shaped entirely by hand, its copper body hammered blow by blow until it could hold a single, pure tone. Time has darkened it to a deep bronze, and across its lower half a mottled, gold-flecked patina has bloomed — the living signature of an old, well-used piece. In Himalayan tradition its rising tone is believed to awaken the energy of a space and dissolve the noise of a restless mind, opening a path from sound into silence. The more you sit with it, the more its voice becomes your own.

The Hammered Patina (The Surface): The dappled gold-on-bronze pattern across its body is no factory finish — each fleck is a hammer strike and a season of quiet use, a record of the maker's hand and the hands that came before yours.
The Provenance (The Origin): This bowl was entrusted to us on consignment by a Himalayan craftsman our artisans have long worked with. Its exact age and origin are undocumented — a piece that had already been used for years of quiet practice before it reached us, its voice shaped by real use.
The Rising Tone (The Sound): Struck on the rim or circled slowly with the included wooden mallet, it releases a long, resonant note traditionally used to open and close quiet reflection, cleanse a space, or simply anchor a moment of calm.

Condition: Pre-owned / previously used — this is a genuine old piece, not a new reproduction. It carries the natural marks of age and handling: surface wear, darkened patina, and small imperfections that are part of its history, not flaws.
Included: The antique bowl, paired with a new wooden mallet — an aged piece and a fresh striker, each in its place.
